AnDrOmeDa galaxy

Well this is the newest found Andromeda galaxy (a.k.a messier 31 or M31) .It was captured through NASA's Wide-field Infared Survey Explorer (WISE) by using it's all four infrared detectors. The blue colour shows mature stars while the red and yellow shows heated dust by the newborn stars.

           Quick facts :-
  1. Is the closest galaxy to Milky Way galaxy (another galaxy in the local group)
  2. Located 2.5 million light years from the sun
  3. The close distance enables telescopes to gather or spy any details about it
  4. It has two natural satellites

MiLky wAy galaxy

          Quick facts :-
  1. Is much smaller than Andromeda and has less stars
  2. Is thought to have higher mass due to a mysterious substance called the dark matter

Both galaxies belongs to our so called local groups which consists 50 galaxies. Most of these galaxies are tiny dwarf systems.WISE will capture the entire local group in it's quest to capture the whole sky.
