I think i am a vitagen pro drinker now hehe. Why...let's get back to the month October. Well the usual quick breakfast between classes always was the coconut bun from High 5 and the Dutch Lady chocolate drink all the while. Not until i aware of the sugar content of the Dutch Lady milk and the amount of sugar that i am consuming pheww. Coz of that...i had to again recontrol my sugar intake. So start to take meals instead of sugar buns...and dutch lady. Sometimes i skip all of it with a vitagen. So, i end up with a great disappointment after bought my vitagen first time after a much long time period.
I noticed the drink taste bitter. Instead of grape smell...i smell the plastic smell from the grape flavored drink. I went to the 'Koperasi' and asked the cashier...but all she could say was...'tak tahula adik, tadipon ada budak beli tapi xda complain la...'. At last i would much appreciated her if she could offer me another drink. But i got mad n felt cheated in some way. I just went out of the shop and snap a picture of the drink and straight dial the vitagen hotline as printed behind the bottle. Then i just complained about my experience with the drink. Initially i thought that my complain will not be entertained as i bought just one bottle. But to my surprise...they took it very serious and they do follow up with me over the incident. How great is it when sumbody treat the customer in a proper way. To my surprise, i was compensated with 5 bottles of vitagens over the incident. The vitagen company personnel came to see me and handed me the compensation and just ask to keep on supporting vitagen.
Another surprise is, after two weeks, the personnel from vitagen headquarters do call me and explained what went wrong with the drink and told how they are trying their level best to rectify the problem in future. And again they ask me to keep on supporting the company. I feel much relieved after the incident because we as a customer was treated well.Over the incident i learned something.
- For most big companies, customers complain are the top priority to be given at first place.
- For all the companies, customers are always right and they have to rectify it.
The name looks weird...yup agreed...it's WEIRD enough. In malay they called 'pokok semalu'...and of course in TAMIL it's called 'thotta chinunggi'. And hell yeah dat's the plant the me n Chua ( REDAC research officer...also masters student) messed up with last week when we went to take the river samples. The weather was already cloudy enough and we both almost done our part in sample taking. While waiting for En.Shubhi to finish his part...we both start to play with the mimosa plant that we found near the place we both sat.
We test it in different ways. In other terms...we test in Engineering way.
- Firstly, we test it's response with vibrations. This plant will only 'shuts' its leaves when there is sudden and abrupt movement around it. If u gently touch it's leaf's means ... it won't shut its leaves.
- Secondly, we tested it's 'shut off' time. We wait till it opens it's leaves back. It took around staggering 4 minutes for it to open fully. We also noticed how it opens...it's not in sudden movement...well it opens a little bit first and followed by a pause.Then it opens and pauses till it opens fully.

I was searching for a perfect camera since early of this year itself.But i ended up buying a new nokia just for the sake of the camera for my industrial training later because i found having camera and handphone as separate items would make a lot of trouble for me.Sure both of it will be a troublesome for me in site later on.At that point i was thinking of a handphone complete with a optical lense camera that would be a lot easier.But till now no any major phone makers has come up with that kind of camera in their phones.But today found this ALTEK phone by the taiwanese phone maker.
-it's a 14 mega pixel camera phone with 3x optical zoom (NOT DIGITAL ZOOM)
-runs completely on android OS
-using CMOS image sensor (image sensor is equivalent to conventional films,but it's in digital form now)
-other functions are as in normal phones
One of my big boss was completely sorta pissed of with many employees attitude on taking various kind of leaves...and he eventually came up with which of the world cup team would win the world cup based on the formula he derived from the type of leaves.I was laughing like hell after seeing it and it was even funny when my boss himself stood there and explain about this formula to everyone who sees it...

My industrial training is going on very well as i was never expected it to be.Everyday new things...hmm interesting interesting.From what i could remember,there was a slight thought that was wrestling on my head for past four months prior to my training in here.At first i was unable to secure a training place as i wished for ,and hell yeah i wanted to do it in KL itself.But finally only able to secure my training with a company called TRC SYNERGY SDN.BHD.And oh yeah i was informed by the Miss Woon (hr) by that time that i will be placed in Sungai Ular,Kuantan for somekind of maritime project.I was Kuantan?hell no ...but without any hesitation i took the offer.Somehow i felt that it would be a preparation for me for my work in the future as a civil engineer.
Back in home...my brother was yelling like hell for the training place which i got.According to him,i'm gonna be ended in a jungle where i am not much familiar with.But yeah Kuantan is a town which i never been before and i was quite sceptical about the people,food,place and my training here.At some point i was also began thinking whether i made the right choice or what.But things was not as i expected.The training is awesome.The place although it's in a rural area ,about midway between Kemaman and Kuantan,is a nice place with a nice beach.The people here,although 99.9% are malays,are kind enough.The food hmm...to say i'm enjoying seafood all over da week.Something which none of my batchmates had during their entire training.The training here had make me to become more independent and yeah now i became more less like a lone ranger where i can go anywhere i wanted without anybody's help and i can able to take care myself very well.

Well Google.inc just had unveiled the new feature for it's google maps application.It's the much awaited 3D app.I had tried it yesterday and it was quite similar to the satellite images.But this 3D function only can be available at some places only...below is the video of the google 3D app...have a look...( bear in mind dis app is for the web based google map and not for google earth !!! )
Happen to see the inside view of the newly installed vending machine in civil engineering faculty.This machine is something different from normal F & N machine.You can either get hot drinks or cold drinks.The cold drinks got ice cubes also.But the hot drinks are much better than the cold drinks...here...have a look the inside and outside view of the machine...;)
Wallawei...what's the best thing you guys know about Rapid Penang/KL busses ?
Finally got a chance to visit the Rapid Penang main control office today and to say it was completely awesome.Never had aware that a simple Scania bus meant for handicapped is that astonishing by the way the bus be a user friendly as a whole besides the bus driver being a friendly person.We got to know many great things on how these guys actually control the full rapid bus operations at the northern region. To say they are the only company who use the gps system to track down each of the busses and also has their very own emegency response team for brakdown services.
These buses also uses a sophisticated computerised system where they can track the bus driver and know whereabouts of the bus (like total mileage, diesel consumption ....and bla bla bla....).
Now to describe about the bus....well the bus it self has it's own adjustable suspension system where it can be brought down to 4ft from the road surface to about 8ft above the surface. It also has self applied braking system (calculates the brake force and applies it when a driver pressed the brake first).The computerised system can show every single information about the bus.It's more like some kind of system that we usually find in BMW cars.
The gps system is another cool thing.They are completely using a customised google earth software where it can track all the busses and they even can show their current speed.
Cool enough? They even have a strict ruling system for the bus drivers to makesure they obey the law 100%. Hmm what else...? aah yeah they even have their own puspakom unit to inspect their busses regularly....

aha...found another piece of cool article past week...here we go...do you guys ever seen a plane cemetary before? well this is the plane cemetery in Arizona.The cemetery is in a desert where there is a low level of humidity to prevent the corrosion of the planes.The cemetery has almost all kind of planes ranging form world war 1 till now!!! Some are for sale...and some kept to use their parts in other current planes.Have a look on these pics...
