Ping pong madness...!!!

     It was 2am in the morning and i was suppose to revise my studies but ended up in something else.I was too lazy to revise and was googling here and there.Then suddenly Mohan (my roommate) asked me....

mohan : "dei cumla we play ping pong one round"
me      : " aik...where we gonna get the ping pong bats...? "
mohan : " cumla dei...the bats and the ball are there "
me      : " ok let's go"

      Both of us went to our hostel lobby and took the bats and the ball.Now let me tell about the bats.The bats were too bad in condition with the rubber at both sides were torn apart.The ball was cracked.They were not as we thought.Then both of us " aah...let's playla , not a big deal "...and we started to play ping pong even when the bats and ball was like that.The ball can't bounce nicely since it's crack.Both of us had a great game even the gadgets was not in that nice condition.Oh yeah we played that thing around an hour.It was really cool and we planned to buy a bat each with a set of balls.

      Next day, right after the classes i jumped in my car and went straight to econsave and bought two cool bats about RM21.90 each.Our luck we had two extra ping pong balls inserted with the bats.Then what else...i came back quickly and took ma lunch and Mohan was doing his final year project proposal.He got very excited and we both went right after i had my lunch.Now really got mad with this game ready.

    Gosh the lab work for this semester has started.It's already been about two weeks and this week was
the most exhausting and tiring lab work.We had to do some experiments at the highway laboratory.To our horror...my god! this time we had to do merely about five experiments.All those experiments looks so simple but in actual they were so so so tough.Just imagine we had to do a compaction of the soil about 62 blows using a 4.5kg rammer in 5 layer.
      That was too heavy as a first experiment of the day.It was the CBR test.Basically our group this time got 2 girls and 2 boys.Me and my frend Azman had to do all the compaction since the girls were incapable of doing that.At first they tried to do but...they got tired even before the level i expected.All the while me and Azman was sweating doing the compaction.After these test we had to collect the data from the data logger machine.Now, here comes the next tests.The whole team really can't imagine of it as it was already 3.30pm after the first experiment.Now we had 4 more to go and normally we would finish all the tests by 3.30pm and start to pack.With a cool mood we did the rest of the experiments.Now after the tiring compaction thing....now we had to deal with asphalt concretes.Some in molten state and some was in semisolid state.We had to dip our hands barely onto the greasy asphalt and do the tests.
      The most damn and sucking part was the data we obtained after the experiments.Each data didn't comply the standard specs and we were like in " oh my god , aah no need to go backla today " state. We regret on this thing because we had followed the procedures correctly and the data's obtained was like shit.We asked the techinician as a backup and he asked us to us mention about our irregular data in discussion in a ' sampoi ' manner.We were kind a bit relieved and finally had to do the flash and fire point test on the bitumen.Damn!!! this test was another damn thing.....it neither wanna ignite nor flash even though the standard temperature rating was achieved.In another side the time was almost 6pm and the technician was rushing back.Finally the technician also was kind ' haiyya susahla benda ini ' and he did some so called alterations to make the result come.Here we are at last the lab work of the day was done!!!...

Funny deed during IstructE talk

     I started to laugh ready even before i start to write about this funny thing.It was wednesday and usually there are no classes after the lunch hour.But today there was an IstructE talk organised by our civil school.About three guys came and start to talk about joining the institution and the benefits.It was supposed to be and hour talk but it ended up being dragged more than one hour.At first it was still on the tolerable limit and i was hearing what they were talking.Then i started to enter my wonderland.I get bored and began my experiment on my new phone.Then a group malay friends came and sit with me.The guy who sat beside me also ownes the same phone as mine.We were all was sitting at the back and chit chatting.Then i asked him bout the navigation system of my phone and was asking him how to use it.He was explaining about it to me.Then  suddenly i found a tab where i can set the adress or landmark and let the gps system to navigate me.My friend at first told me that the navigation sound would be high volume.And i thought it wont have sound since the phone was in silent mode.Then i began to put my civil school in the navigation and press to navigate.Suddenly the phone start to navigate with a woman voice which sounds like this ; " turn left and walk 400 meters straight " ( in a loud tone ).
      Now here comes the funny part again....the crowd was hearing to the talk seriously with not even releasing the human breathing sound.Half of them was asleep ready.The moment my phone start to navigate, it really shocked everybody.Particularly the row in front of me where a few of my chinese coursemate girls was sitting.They got really a big shock and i can see a girl was tapping her heart in shock.I'm also kinda too shocked and i don't even know how to stop it while it was navigating.And my friend was smiling like hell beside me.And i saw one my lecturer and a few looked at us.Finally i was able to turn it off by pressing the end call key.It was really funny and i was sweating at one side and was overjoyed at another side.My another friend who is also sitting beside me was smiling like hell.Then everything was back to normal and i again embarked on the mission to experiment my wonderful phone....

First toastmasters meeting for year 2010...

       At last I'm glad to join back my toastmasters club after two months break.My fellow toastmasters already named me and another two of my friends as " long lost members " . It sounds really funny somebody calling us like that 'hehe'.Today was a bit different because i went alone without my friends and to my horror i had to be the grammarian and the evaluater for my fellow toastmasters.First it sounds really scary!!! but i took the challenge in cool way and yup i made it though.Apart playing these two roles i had to present the word and the thought of the day and finally was asked to present the table topic speech.Now the funny part was the table topics.At first i really don't really want to do it.But suddenly someone yelled !!!( it was the treasurer ).She yelled " why don't we call our 'long lost member' to do his speech today".I was (in my heart) "gone la me today, i'm gonna stuck somewhere either before starting the speech or after i start it ".Slowly i walked to infront and suddenly the event organiser told the topic was hand phone.
       Yikes! i was really shocked and ideas began to pour into ma mind uncontrollably.Quickly i'm managed to tell about my new phone and i was telling every single thing about it until my time finishes.At last our chartered president applauded me for my speech at the end.It was sort like a big relieve because everything happened in a split second.And another thing was i've finally found a shortcut route from my place to the club meeting place with the help of the club president.It was really cool and i can now even go quite often to the club meetings with this new shortcut.
